Really good I like their curies and naan bread

Their 10-11 dollar lunch comes with two heaps of curries and rice and naan and free masala chai! The food is delicious and I always take half of it home.

Food is always of a good standard. Very fairly priced and friendly staff.

Ordered through uber eats today. Tica Masala had exactly two tiny pieces of checken in the whole container. I could not believe this first. So we just bought a huge amount of plain source, no meat. Its quite expensive for a sauce and it was not our intention to have a vegetarian meal!

An Indian friend took me here and I enjoyed a couple of small dishes. Good Chai always hot in urn.

It is Crazy Restaurant, very expensive and the Service is down

So far, inescapably the best Indian food in the Bay Area. We keep trying new places closer to home and keep finding our House of Curries "addiction" as strong as ever.

My favorite place! Food is so good and the environment is so comfortable. Love the chicken tiki masala and naan. Best part is the self serve chai!

Good, decently priced curry

The food is amazing, albeit a bit pricy. The staff was great so I don't mind paying more for tasty food and good service. Will definitely visit again.

Okay. Good food. Lots of it. My husband loved his lamb vindaloo. I was less impressed. Naan seemed somewhat dry. Chanda masala a bit uneven in terms if spice level within the dish. Would ordinarily give this a 4 star but the lack of parking (and only one disabled spot on the whole street) required me to walk four blocks. Won't be back. Not a place for anyone with a severe disability but then the same could be said of anyplace on the whole street.

Really well-made vindaloo and tikka masala sauces and naan. Not much charm in the dining area but it's high on our list for takeout

I do like their food lamb biryani!

Good tikka masala dishes. Delicious unlimited chai. Pretty "standard" menu for Indian food restaurant, curry is more creamy and less spicy than it used to be. Not sure if bad, just different. Telegraph location serves the malai kofta the way I like it better.

This place is so deliciously drool-worthy, I can't believe it's taken me this long to find out about it. Adnan is so Joey and fluffy, and if you get cheese non they are super generous with the cheese portions, delectable

The food is great! You place your order and other drinks and tableware is self service. Really a pleasant experience. We had appetizer and naan bread along with goat buryani and chicken dish, all very delicious.

Decent indian cuisine with fair pricing. Best to go during lunch time to enjoy all you can drink chai tea.

Wide selection. Food comes out very hot! and fresh. Very nice people. Food quality is okay, sometimes the rice may be all clumped together.

Didn't impress my Tamalese friend, but he did eat his dinner. Quick, lots of choice, and lots of South Asian customers can't be too wrong.

The House of Curries has a variety of curries to choose from at a reasonable prices.Patrons should eat their dishes with the naan to balance out the strong flavors of the curries. It's a bit of cramped place but it's great to be outside when it's hot. The restaurant seems to be in a good place to invite a cool breeze.

Delicious and very cheap Indian food. Self service utensils. Free tea as well. Great place for an Indian food fix. Place is a little cramped so don't go there for ambiance.

This is a casual and inexpensive neighborhood restaurant open for lunch and dinner. We recommend the aloo naan, palak paneer, and chicken tikka. Free chai is also a plus.

Amazing food every time!

We tried this house of curries and the one on the campus. The difference in quality and taste is really noticeable, particularly in its tikka masala. We've been here for several times and we loved it so far :)

Good food and good service, what more is there which one could ask for? The restaurant has a nice decor and the employees are pretty friendly as well. So overall my experience here was pretty reasonable

Great curries at a great price! I especially loved the chicken vindaloo.

I was honestly so disappointed. I love Indian food and was expecting at least decent quality from this place. That is not what I got. The vegetable biryani was flavorless and OVERCOOKED. I would bite down on hard spices/ rice and hurt my teeth! The saag paneer was watery. And the most disappointing part was the tikka masala. The chicken was dry! How does chicken marinated in curry get dry? It was almost impressive how bad it was. The only thing I would say wasn’t terrible were the samosas- they weren’t great but at least they were ok.

No taste at all . Slow service !!
